At my consultation Becca went through my usual skincare and make up routine for day and night and how I envisaged myself on the day. I have had bad experiences of professional makeup in the past and dreaded the feeling of heavy make up on my skin and not looking like “me” as I met my groom on my wedding day. Becca completely understood this and immediately put my mind at ease and even agreed to me doing my own eyeliner and mascara as this is what I felt would most change how I looked. The finished result was perfect, it looked so natural but covered up what needed covering up and highlighted what needed to be especially for photographs. I felt very comfortable all day and only had to touch up my lips once!!! The service Becca provides is superlative; always professional but so warm, friendly and approachable. I would recommend her services over and over and have always been happy with any treatment I have had.

I would highly recommend Becca Gray as a makeup artist. She was fantastic on the morning of my wedding and at the trial. Becca did my (brides) makeup plus my three bridesmaids and mother of the bride and we were all really really happy with the results!

We first had a comprehensive trial where Becca suggested ideas and colours that would work whilst really listening to my requirements. On the day of my wedding, she was there bright and early and although there was loads to be done we had a great time getting ready, Becca was really helpful, friendly, professional and great at keeping everyone calm on a really emotional and busy morning! With a strict time scale to work to she was very good at successfully making sure the makeup for the bridesmaids and family was done on time and that she had enough time to focus on my makeup. The end results were really fantastic; everyone looked great and felt fabulous!
The makeup lasted all day, and the photographs look amazing and I have since had loads of friends complement how subtle but effective the makeup was.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Becca to any friends who were getting married or needed a makeup artist!

Becca made us all feel completely at ease when she came to do our bridesmaids make-up. After the bride had her trial she gave us all the option of having ours done by Becca for the big day as well. I am very glad I did, as everyone commented on how natural and lovely our make-up looked.
Becca arrived on time, and just blended in, getting stuck in with the first client. In total she did the bride’s make-up, the bride’s mother, and 4 bridesmaids, but didn’t at any point make us feel like we had to rush anything, or that she was hurrying through us all. Becca was very efficient and talked us all through each part as she was doing it, and made sure we were all happy with our colour choices – advising us of what would suit each of us, before she got started. Any queries were professionally answered and advice and tips were handed out continually.
I was a bit worried about the eye lashes, as I wear contact lenses and have never had daily eyelashes on before, but Becca talked me through everything. They were very comfortable and Becca was repeatedly checking I was ok with the pressure on my eye, and ensuring the glue was applied just enough. It was as if I wasn’t wearing them at all, as I couldn’t feel them – but they looked amazing! She made all of us feel and look individual, and treated each of us as a different canvas, again being extremely patient when we asked any questions.

The make-up stayed on all day, and night and I only really needed to re-apply my lip gloss once or twice, but the makeup didn’t feel heavy at all. I would definitely ask Becca to do my makeup again in the future, for a night out, or a birthday celebration – as she completely relaxes you, and is so attentive towards each individual need. Becca was fantastic from start to finish. My test was held in such comfortable surrounds, and together Becca and I worked on the perfect look for my wedding reception. On the day itself, Becca was beyond brilliant.  I just wanted to say a big Thankyou to Becca for everything she did for my wedding on the 29th December 2015! I was very nervous as I wanted to look my best but as an older bride and someone who normally does not wear makeup, I did not know where to start! I had two sessions with Becca, one for the trial run and one on the big day itself! The main thing for me was that I still wanted to look like me. Becca spent time showing me how we could still get a natural look and as Becca explained it was about enhancing what I had! On the day itself, I also found Becca to be a reassuring Prescene. The house was chaotic but Becca was the absolute professional, with good humour and warmth, she concentrated on me to make sure that I was ok. It’s amazing how she can work so well with everything going on around her! Becca also went over and above when she popped home and loaned us her own curlers, in order to save a complete bridesmaid melt down! Becca is so friendly and a brilliant make up artist. She puts you at ease right from the beginning. Becca did the make up for my wedding in July 2016. My mum was very nervous so my sister took her along to join my trial which she absolutely loved. On my wedding day Becca did a wonderful job on my make up as well as my mum and two bridesmaids.
